Pulse Collective was founded in 2025 by Artistic Director Jade Barth. With a love for movement and art across all mediums, Barth set out to create cross-disciplinary performance opportunities for working artists in Ventura County. As a multi-medium artist, Barth sought to blend dance with other mediums of both visual and performing arts. This collaborative process opens the door for innovative and playful ways to tell our stories.

The company’s work is developed from the real-life experiences of its performers, often exploring themes of relationships, social constructs, and personal identity. Making art is a way to process, heal, and transform through life’s experiences. In a time when connection feels more important than ever, Pulse Collective prioritizes creating spaces where artists can come together to create, reflect, and share their collective stories.
